If you look at VMware's roughly 20 year history, the first decade was us disrupting and growing and the second
decade was others coming after us to disrupt us. Right? When a company gets large, you get very good at the math of
the business, but you've kind of lost the soul of the business, which is are you innovating at a very impatient
velocity. Operate like the world's largest startup. Make sure that you're operating at speed with scale. Don't delegate the storytelling. The story is
the strategy.
